Birthday dilema & instalife

Ok, so I need some help today!

Hudsons will be 2 in 4 months!!!!!!!
I know, it seems like forever away but im kind of freaking out.
this post isn't about him growing up though, its about his birthday party.
I cant pick a theme.
This is a huge deal for me.
Last year I had Hudson's theme picked out and started working on details months before.
We had a mustache bash & it was so much fun!
[you can read my post on it here]
Ill admit it. I am one of those moms.
& I don't care, its a big deal.
We ALWAYS had birthday parties growing up, and I love looking back on them
I want that for my kids.
Were only a few months away, and Hudsons birthday is only a month after christmas
So in between all the party planning is the holiday season so I gotta start early
and give my self lots of time.
Ive been going back and forth on 3 different themes.
I want the theme to be a surprise..but I cant pick!
One of the themes is a party I know I really really want to do, but I feel like there are some fun things we could do with this theme if Hudson was a little older.
But, there are still lots of fun things I can do for the toddler age.
This one is probably my favorite theme for a birthday party ever too!
And I only have another year....maybe if I push it two years...to be the one to pick the theme.
The older the gets the more opinionated he will become, and what if he doesn't like this theme :/
The second theme is one that is something Hudson loves.
I know he would have so much fun, but this one is another thing that I would be able to do alot more with if he were older. But...its one of his favorite things.
So, Im positive if I don't do this theme, he will make me do it at one point in time.
And the third theme kinda plays on the theme of one of his baby showers & his nursery in our apartment. This was the original theme I was going to do last year, but we found the little man party and decided on that. This theme I think is perfect for the toddler age. I wouldn't be able to do this as he gets older, I just don't think it works for kids over 3/4 years old. I think he would really love this one too and we could have lots of fun and fun ideas for this one.
Ill have to make a lot more stuff for this party though.
But, im not opposed to that.

How do I choose? Who knew the momma stuff that would drive me crazy ;)
I just love this little guy and want to give him the best birthday ever.
After all, his birthday is my favorite holiday in the whole wide world.

This is me, my mom, my little sister, my aunt, and hudson!

this kids just cracks me up :)
and yes, we use shoe laces for belts.

we tried to teach Hudson to say peace. This is his interpretation and he walks around to everyone with this odd contorted hand saying peeeaaacccceee.

What happens when you say, 'hold on tight Hudson don't fall'
Cute cousins

this was at the fair, waiting to ride the big yellow slide

my mom is selling this jazzy for my grandma, and hudson and tanner had to check it out.
They do some mean donuts on that thing!

The hubby took me to a concert last friday.
Manchester Orchestra and Brand New were playing
It was awesome!

Little man was way to quiet in his room the other day.
So I peeked in and he was reading books :)

We went for a drive the other day in the mountains to see the fall colors. so pretty.

he loves to jump on our backs for a piggy back ride

having a blast at the park

it was a little chilly the other day so I pulled out his jackets from last year. It still kinda fits

A day in the life...

So, today I felt like sharing a day in the life of me & little man.
A few blogs I follow have done similar posts
and I though this would be a fun little thing to look back on
and see what our lives were like.

6:30 am This is when my alarm goes off. Well, really it goes off at 6, and I swear ill get up and 'work out'. Yet, day after day I don't make it out of bed till 6:30 ;)

7:00 am by this time I am up and ready. This is when I start gathering Hudson's stuff and making his lunch and the husbands lunch. Hudson is usually still asleep, but if he decides to wake up I put him in my bed with a movie and some toast or granola bar while I get everything together.

7:30 am We have to be out the door to head to grandmas.

7:50 am I drop Hudson off, and give him lots off kisses. He runs to the front window to wave as I walk back to my car.

8:15 am I get to work. I work till 12:45 pm and during this time Hudson just hangs out at grandmas and eats breakfast & lunch there.

1:15 pm I pick up Hudson. If he was at my moms he will have already napped, but at my mother in laws he never seems to nap.

2:00 pm We are home and I eat lunch. Hudson is either napping or running around playing.

2:30-5:00 pm. This is Hudson and my special time together :) We spend this time just playing in his room, reading books, coloring, going to the park, sometimes he helps me clean. [if he was napping he is up by 3]

5:00-6:00 This is when I start making dinner. Depending on how long it takes to cook is when ill cook it ;) If the Hubby has to work late I usually drive over to my moms to have dinner. I love that she lives so close.

7:00 pm The hubby is usually home by this point. Some days earlier, but it really just depends. We have dinner together as a family.

7:30-8:30/9:00 pm we go on a walk, or bike ride almost every night. They are slowly getting longer and longer. Hudson loves the walks, and most nights he even falls asleep while were walking. This is a great time to just put away any electronics and talk and connect with the husband.

9:00-11:00 pm this is hubby and I time & usually when we catch up on any of our dvr shows. I don't always last till 11, I usually fall asleep on the couch by ten! haha

Then we wake up and do it all over the next day ;)

State Fair {pic overload}

The other weekend my grandma took us all to the fair!
We had so much fun, it was Hudson's first fair
& he was in love with everything.

We started off by doing the little farmer activity
It was so darn cut! They start off by getting an apron & seeds
They feed the cows and get milk
plant seeds, ride a tractor, sheer a sheep, and more!
at the end they get paid for a hard days work and get to buy a treat.
Hudson chose to buy a granola bar

in case you are wondering, sheep totally drink from their necks ;)

We road the BIG YELLOW SLIDE! probably the highlight of the day
Hudson loved it and kept asking for more!

He would rather push it, then ride in it.

This cute little farmer boy let Hudson pet his goat

He is getting so darn big

They had to sit on hay barrels while they waited to ride the horse, Hudson grabbed that handful of hay and carried it the entire time he was on the horse

Hudson and his great uncle Dean

We had a ton of fun. Even though it was very very hot! Thanks so much great grandma for the tickets :D

Hudson would not nap today, so we had to leave a little early. Next year though he will be older and able to last a lot longer.
