9 months!!

A few months behind on updates, life's been a little crazy.

Where in the world has 9 months gone?! I still cant believe you have been in this world longer then you were in my belly. Its a surreal milestone for me. Your growing up so fast!! I love watching you grow and learn, but i wish time would slow down a little.

SLEEPING: Sleeping hasn't changed to much. You still get up a few times in the night to nurse and usually just end up sleeping with me for the rest of the night :) I love snuggling with you.

EATING: nursing is still going strong!! Im so excited about this, although you refuse bottles so you cant be away from me for more then a couple hours or you freak out and wont eat. You have 3 'meals' a day. Were slowly working up your solids intake. You love banana, avocado, eggs, yogurt, applesauce and most purees. You also love your puffs.

MILESTONES: So many milestones since our last update! You started crawling on 7/15/14 (the day before you turned 7 months). Shortly after that you started pulling up to standing on everything! You walk along all the furniture, you have been climbing stairs since 7 1/2 months, you walk when we hold your hands. You can say "dada". You clap and wave your hands (8 months). You cut your first tooth today! (9/23/14). the bottom left front tooth. Not all the way in yet but I can feel the sharp tip

Weight: 17 lb range (home scale)

Height: not sure till your next doc apt.

Diaper size: 3

clothing size: 9-12 month clothes. 12-18 month jammies

Hair: your hair has finally started to fill in the last couple months. Its really fine and short but its there! also, its pretty reddish.

Eyes: the prettiest blue!

THINGS I WANT TO REMEMBER:
You are such a happy easy baby. The only time you really fuss or cry is in car or if moms not right by you. You sure love your momma :) Its hard sometimes to even take a shower but I know these days are limited. When mom is around you just chill and play with toys. You have been really quiet the last couple months but I think its because you have been focusing on your crawling/mobility. You love to say dah dah when you see your dad. And you like to scream and laugh. You and your brother are able to play more and more every day. I cant wait till you can run around together. You love to look at each other and clap and laugh on the rare moments your happy in the car

We love you so much Mr. Porter Pants. Im so happy you are apart of this family.

six months

*6/16/2014*

How in the world has 6 months gone by so fast?! Porter your the perfect fit into our family and we love you so very much!! These past 6 months have flown by, but they have been amazing!!

SLEEPING: You still wake up a few times every night, but I just nurse you back to sleep so its not that big a deal to me right now. You usually just end up staying in bed with me once I get you up to nurse. Napping wise you take 2-4 naps a day. They are slowly getting longer and more consistent.

EATING: You were exclusively breast fed until 5 months, then we started introducing foods. You LOVE bananas and egg yolks (we tried the eggs today and you ate every last bite!). You have had lots of other foods: squash, carrots, peas, watermelon, pears, avocados. you seem to like them all.

MILESTONES: You sit independently, and pull up to standing on EVERYTHING! You love to talk and yell and started saying "dadadadada" I try so hard to get you to make the mmm sound though :( stinker!

STATS:

Weight: you were 15lbs 15 oz at your 6 month check up

Height: 27 1/2 inches

Diaper size: 2

clothing size: mostly 6 month clothing. jammies are 9-12 months.

Hair: still pretty bald! though a little hair is coming in up top

Eyes: the prettiest blue!

Porter 4 month update

Porter Pants turned 4 months on April 16th!! Man, I am behind lol!

I cant believe how big this little guy is getting so fast :) He is so aware, and alert, and loves his momma! It is so fun watching him learn and discover new things every day.

SLEEPING: Sleeping is still pretty much the same, cat naps throughout the day. But at night you are waking more. Not to bad, but instead of averaging 2 times a night its like 4 or so. Im sure its just the 4 month growth spurt I have heard so much about :)

EATING: Still exclusively breast fed. :) So proud of that accomplishment! I'm thinking we are going to start introducing solids next month.

MILESTONES: Your laughing finally!! You are always so happy and smiley to everyone (as long as mom is holding you ;) ) but we have to work pretty dang hard for those laughs. They are amazing though and so worth it!

STATS:

Weight: 14-15 lb range.

Height: not sure till your next doc apt.

Diaper size: 2

clothing size: mostly 6 month clothing. although a good chunk of your 3/6 month still fit. You fit into 9/12 month jammies though! All because of your height though, your skinny and tall like your brother.

Hair: pretty bald! HAHA but whats left is still a blondish red

Eyes: the prettiest blue!

THINGS I WANT TO REMEMBER:

You are starting to eat EVERYTHING. You love to grab our faces and eat our noses.

Your starting to show interest when people eat. You follow every bite of food and watch us.

You are in love with your brother and will just smile/laugh at him all day.

You talk none stop!!

You found your feet and hold them all day long

You look a lot like jack-jack from the incredibles

You love mom more then anything and are starting to get stranger danger. I can leave you with ANYONE or you scream bloody murder the whole time I'm gone. I secretly love it!
