So, in case I haven't mentioned it yet. Hudson is now in the double digits!!! yup...10 whole months old. He actually turned 10 months old on Thanksgiving. I'm just a little behind and need to do his 10 month photo shoot & 10 month post. I promise Ill get that done by the end of this week!
Ok, on to that favor I need from you, and if you could pass it along to others to vote as well that would be awesome & I would love you forever. My Aunts sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer within 6 months of her sister passing away from breast cancer. Right now she is doing chemo, and doing well. Were all hoping for the best. Her husband has entered a contest with OC TANNER jewelery to win her a diamond ring. She is currently in 2nd place and needs all the votes she can get!! Its only open for voting for a couple more days and its soooo easy to vote. Click the link below and it will take you to OCTANNER's facebook page. All you have to do is click to like their fb page & then right there should be the top four finalists and you just have to click like under her story (Karen & Danny). Its super easy and would mean so much to me!!
click here to vote for karen & danny!!!
& in other news...I wanted to share a few more of our family pictures!! through the window photography did an amazing job. We still don't have the full finished CD, but Bethany is one of my best friends so she sent me a few more ;)

I pretend - I have everything under control I worry - way to much, about everything I cry - at everything. Im a bawl baby I hope - I can give my son everything he deserves in life I dream - of all of my families dreams coming true I feel - so lucky to have the life that I have

I am blank because....
This post has been poppin its head around 'blogland' for a while now & I feel like joining in the fun!
I'm weird because...
I hate any and all condiments [except BBQ sauce]
I am a stickler to expiration dates
I prefer to sleep with sheets over blankets
I hate Styrofoam. Even just typing the word made me cringe
I can't sing, but I put on a show in my car
I have never flipped anyone off, I find it ugly
I spray the shower walls and floor with water before I step in, to check for spiders
If I could I would live off of mac&cheese
I sometimes forget to text or call back
I never ever check my voice mails
I'm a good friend because...I always have time to listen to a friend in need
I cherish all my friends, they are my family
I love to be silly & have a good time
My friends kids are my nieces and nephews, and I love to spoil them
I rarely every break plans to go out!
I'm sad because...
Me and the Hubs both are working 2 jobs right now
We haven't heard back on our house we put an offer in
I tend to dwell on the small things that get me down
There a few friends that I know longer keep in contact with, and badly wish we still did
Hudson will be 1 in just under 2 months, he is growing way to fast
I'm happy because...I have a happy healthy loving family
I'm excited for...Holiday season, and celebrating all of Hudson's firsts
Making our first family Christmas card
Seeing all my family at holiday parties
Tanners grandmas shrimp night! yum
Putting up our tree with all of our new decorations

I only have to work part time, so I at least get mornings with my little man

That Hudson at least loves to snuggle with me when he is going to bed

Christmas pics sneak peak!
Traditions
Its that time of year again, or should I say the best time of year?
Im so excited for the Christmas season. This will be our very first Christmas as a family of 3 and im beyond excited for all of the new traditions we get to start. Im a sucker for holidays and want to make sure my child[ren] remember them for a lifetime just like my mom did for me. It is definitely the small things you cherish as you grow up.
Now, Hudson is only 10 months old so a few of these he is a little small for and won't really get whats going on, but that's ok! Here are some of my favorite holiday traditions, and a few new ones I plan to start.
-putting up the Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. We did this every year growing up, I loved having our tree up all of December. Were a little slow this year, but the Hubs has every night off this week [yay!!] so it will get put up soon.
-Every Christmas Eve, the elve's would essentially 'door bell ditch' our house and drop off our Christmas Jammies. It was them saying Santa was getting close so you had to go to bed. It worked like a charm and we went right to sleep.
-Speaking of elves, the "elf on the shelf" is one I can not wait to start. My little sister got the Elf, and its such a magical tradition.

-I saw this idea on pinterest. You take a hand print of your baby on their very first Christmas. We will be doing this, however in red or green so it matches our tree ;]
-Another fabulous pinterest idea is wrapping up 25 Christmas books, then each day to count down you open one and read it. Hudson is definitely to little for this one, but I'm going to start collecting books for the next year or two so I can be sure to have enough.
-Making cookies! Oh I just love fresh baked Christmas cookies.
-wrapping kids in lights. Adorable. We actually did this Saturday when we got our family pictures done. I can't wait to get them back to share.

-Making Christmas presents. My mother and I always make some sort of gift for the neighbors, and some family. We have a few ideas this year, but haven't started yet. We should get on that.
& I am sure there is lots more! But, right now these are the big ones im getting excited for.
What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
are you stopping by from the followers fest? Let me know I love meeting new faces blogs, ;] and I would love to follow you back.

So very thankful
It's thanksgiving day in just over an hour!! Where has this year gone? I have super failed at thankful posts, but I'll try to make up for it the next few days. A friend I follow posted this as one of her thankful poets, and it's So true!
I am so very thankful to be able to be a mom. To be able to get pregnant with out having to really try ( honestly it ONLY took one time, I know exactly when I conceived Hudson) My pregnancy had a few scares, including right after I found out I was pregnant I got really sick and they said it was probably a miscarriage. I was devestated. But thankfully that wasn't the case. Also, little Hudson did have to spend some time in the nicu, but he is our strong little guy and is now a very happy healthy ten month old!
I have a couple cousins who have struggled with infertility. They have had miscarriages and spent literally years trying. Some were blessed with being able to get pregnant. And others were blessed through adoption. I don't know if I'll ever understand why people who truly deserve to be parents can struggle, while other unfit parents pop out kids like There is no tomorrow. I just have to trust the lord has a plan for everyone.
I am truly blessed and thankful for the miracle of life, and being able to create life. I love being a momma! I thank god every single day for my son.

Pictures from my Phone
"Ohhh mom, look what I found!"
He is a handful at restaurants
I know this one is blurry..but check out that gummy smile
&& those baby blues
Such a little stud, standing and drinking juice. He is so grown up
In his new big boy car seat!
We had Thanksgiving a little early since my inlaws will be out of town, check out these cute little cousins.
I think its safe to say I have a cars obsession for Hudson. && its mostly due in part to the old car "doc hudson"
Making it rain
I wanted this little back pack so bad {again, because its cars} but Tanner refused
These guys are best buddies
and they love to cuddle
Check out little mans crazy hair!
Mommy and me! Love him
Baby kisses are the best
"mom, wake her up I wanna play"
Poor thing was so tired after we got him out of the bath, he passed out before he could get dressed.
Got to love dinner time
This is my little sister..isn't she precious?
"when nothing goes right, go left"
great advice miss jade!

Breaking Dawn Part 1
The midnight premier was awesome :D
Although I was crazy to go to the midnight showing...I wasn't that crazy as to dress up!There is always 'some sort' of dressing up & even though I expect it, it still makes me laugh
There were ladies in wedding dresses, and bloody babies, and lots of feathers in hair! (think, honeymoon scene if your wondering what for)
The movie itself wasn't my favorite of the series, but it's OK. There were a couple super cheesy parts (the wolves talking?! seriously it was like robo wolf) and this movie was really bloody! I couldn't watch the birth scene. Im way to squeamish. But I got over it, and I'm going to see it again with my mom & sister.
I really wish I would have gotten more pictures, but I was enjoying a night out w/o Hudson and didn't even think about it. But we got one in the theater, this is (From left to right) Janessa, Bethany, Tiffany, Me & Jessica. On the other side of Janessa is our Friend Austin he however didn't want any proof he was out at 'girls night' ;)
Have you seen breaking dawn yet? What did you think?
